“Seafarers and Pilots Regulation” was published in the Official Gazette dated 29.08.2024 and numbered 32647. The purpose of the Regulation is to determine the qualifications, training, examinations, certification, health conditions, electronic registration procedures, rules and disciplinary procedures regarding seafarers and pilots, and their watchkeeping. It is stated that it is to regulate administrative procedures for institutions and organizations that provide maritime education.
