On December 17, 2024, Prof. Dr. Hakkı Dereli, Dean of İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University (İKÇÜ) Faculty of Shipbuilding and Maritime, and Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Önal visited Prof. Dr. Cüneyt Ezgi, Dean of Piri Reis University Faculty of Maritime Studies, and Vice Dean Dr. Nazmi Çeşmeci.

During the visit, discussions focused on improving educational and research activities for the maritime sector, strengthening academic collaborations, developing projects to enhance students’ industry experience, sharing knowledge and expertise between maritime faculties, and planning joint events and projects.
